Well done to the new group of Lámh Tutors who completed their training at Marino Centre in Dublin last week (6th November 2015). This group of Tutors included 6 Speech & Language Therapists whose places were funded by the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists.

Training included Lámh signing presentations and skills in delivering Lámh Family courses, Module One and Add-on Workshops for staff members and new Tutors are also now accredited to deliver the QQI Level 5 'Using Lámh in a Total Communication Approach' Programme. Guest lecturers included parents who use Lámh, a home teacher from St. Michael's House and 2 self advocates who spoke about their experiences of co-delivering Lámh sign training to staff members.

Well done to all and best of luck in delivering Lámh courses to families and staff members far and wide!
