Support available from Lámh
Information and Support
Service providers may be at quite different stages when it comes to their experience of Lámh.
Some services may have been using Lámh since its introduction in the early 1980s and may have run many family and staff courses over the years. Some services may have trained Lámh Tutors on their staff team, while other services may not have any experience of Lámh use at all. New service users who are also Lámh users may have joined the service, or perhaps there are children or adults attending who require Lámh Assessments.
For example, a mainstream school may have new pupils enroling who are Lámh users and this school may need information leaflets to circulate and perhaps training for key staff to begin with. A day service may have want to train a large group of staff members in Module One while another service may be looking at training some of their staff members as Lámh Tutors.
The Lámh Development Office can provide information and support for services at all stages.
