Module One is for those who:

 
• Require an introduction to Lámh
• Have started to work in an environment where Lámh is used
• Have specific contact periods with Lámh users
• Are unsure if they will require 500 signs

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
1. Use the signs from the Module One Book
2. Use Lámh as an effective communication tool
3. Contribute to assessment or decision making around Lámh
4. Participate effectively in an established Lámh environment.

Can be taken as a stand-alone course or
Will be considered to be Part One of the full five day training

How long is the course?

 
o Module One is 6-7 hours in duration
o It can be delivered over a day, or three sessions
o If delivered over 3 sessions, each session will have a theory section and a signing section
