Module Two is for those who:

 
• Have completed the Module One Lámh Course
• Work extensively with Lámh users
• Require the 500 Lámh signs
• Are involved in assessing individuals for suitability of Lámh

 

Aims & Objectives
 
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:


1. Use the signs from Lámh Sign Books One, Two & Three
2. Use Lámh as an effective communication tool
3. Take a key role in assessing individuals for suitability of Lámh
4. Take a key role in the establishment or maintenance of a Lámh signing environment 
5. Show signs to other staff members

Where does Module Two fit in with the rest of the Lámh training courses?
 
o Accredited
o Participants may apply to train as Lámh Tutors or Lámh Family Course Trainers
o Module One plus Module Two equate the original Five-Day Lámh course

Lámh and the Open Training College have recently linked to FETAC for accreditation for Module Two and this accreditation will come online in 2012 under the module Facilitating Communication Through Lámh.
