The Lámh Development Office:

 

  • Acts as a point of contact for families, those working in healtcare/education settings and for service providers
  • Most information and support for families is provided by the service provider but sometimes families will contact the Development Office for information
  • Information Leaflets are available
  • Information Packs for speech and language therapists are available
  • The Lámh Development Office has a collection of articles and links relating to Lámh and the use of manual sign with children and adults
  • While the Development Office doesn't organise Lámh Courses, the Lámh Development and Liaison Officer may be able to provide you with information on where Lámh Courses take place in your area
  • A list of those interested in attending Lámh Tutor Training is kept in the Development Office
  • Tutor Training is organised by the Development Office and delivered by members of the Lámh Board of Directors
  • Information on Contract Training is available and contact is made with Contract Tutors through the Development Office
  • Leaflets about Lámh and information on Lámh Contract Training are available.
  • News of current developments and training statistics are available from the Development Office.
  • Occasionally, Lámh Tutors have extra places on courses and they may contact the Development Office to advertise those places
