Who delivers Lámh Training?
All Lámh courses are delivered by Lámh Tutors, who have been trained to deliver Lámh courses to a recommended standard. Lámh Tutors deliver Lámh courses to staff and families as part of their regular role as speech therapists, nurses, home teachers, pre-school supervisors, etc.
Lámh Tutors are not employed by Lámh. They work for service providers around Ireland.
Voluntary Board of Directors
Lámh is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.
The Board came together in 1999. Development priorities were identified and lobbying began for funding for the post of Development Officer (now Development and Liaison Officer). Lámh has one employee, the Development and Liaison Officer.
The Lámh Development Office is currently located on the campus of the Institute of Technology, Carlow.
