In 1999, LÁMH formed a company limited by guarantee with Board of Directors, with the company name, Communication Augmentation Signing System (CASS). In 2002, ongoing funding was secured from the Dept. of Health & Children (DOHC), and LÁMH is also a registered charity. In planning for the future of LÁMH, the Board has done an initial review, and now wishes to commission an independent consultant to conduct a Strategic Review & 5 year Business Plan for the company.
Currently, LÁMH is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, with one employee, the Development & Liaison Officer. For past 2 years, the Open Training College has been contracted by LÁMH to provide management and support to the LÁMH Development & Liaison Officer and LÁMH developments. Read in full
